Long rural driveways are routine for us. We'll advise on the right stone for what you're driving on it and how much depth the job actually needs.

Most people call when the drive has started telling them to. Ruts that reappear a week after you fill them, potholes that hold water, bare patches where the stone has migrated to the edges, or a washboard stretch that rattles the truck — all of that is a surface that's thinned out or was never deep enough to begin with.

Depth is where a gravel job is won or lost. Too thin and it disappears into the ground under the first few loads of traffic; more than the job needs and you've paid for stone that isn't doing anything. It's the same story with stone size — what works under a car in a short suburban drive is not what holds up under a truck on a long rural one. Tell us what drives on it and we'll tell you what it wants.

The price follows the ground: how long and wide the drive is, how deep it needs to go, which stone it takes, and whether we can get the truck in to place the material where it's needed. We deliver the gravel and spread it in the same visit, so there's no separate load sitting in your yard waiting on someone to come back and move it.
